The battle has three stages, with the first stage being a case of attacking Smog. For the second stage, Smog will break up into four smaller clouds. By using the boulders already in the room and using Boulder Echoes, you can trap the clouds, casuing them to reunite into Smog, so you can attack Smog again.
For the third and final stage, Smog breaks into even more smaller clouds. Simply unite Smog once again and attack to win the battle. Once Smog retreats, amongst many Rupees, a Piece of Heart will now appear. Run over to the Piece of Heart to collect it.

Once on the lower ledge to where the Peice of Heart resides, you can place another bed, or transform into Zelda’s Swordfighter form, and leap up onto the higher ledge to grab the Piece of Heart.

Once you have beaten Faron Temple, players can return to Scrubton to speak to an Deku Scrub NPC to start the “Cotton-Candy Hunt.” This Side Quest sees the return of Smog, the cloud-shaped enemy you encounter at the Eastern Temple. This time around, players will need to venture forth to the Hidden Ruins in Faron Wetlands, which is now fully accessible as previously rubble prevented players from being able to explore the dungeon.
With the rubble now cleared, players are free to explore the Hidden Ruins in their entirety, solving puzzles as they go until you encounter Smog in the final room. Defeat Smog in a simillar manner you did before to reveal the Piece of Heart.
Gerudo Desert Piece of Heart #1:
North of the Oasis, this Piece of Heart can be seen sitting on a rectangular-shaped platform, surrounded by quicksand. To collect it, players can use a combination of Table and Wooden Box Echoes, or even the Old-Bed Echo, to build a path to the Piece of Heart.
Gerudo Desert Piece of Heart #2:
Provided you have completed the Gerudo Desert Main Quest and defeated both the Red and Green Lanmolas you can return to the Gerudo Palace to speak to an NPC to begin the “Wild Sandstorms” Side Quest. Now you are free to seek out the Blue Lanmola with a spiked tail and defeat it to reveal a Piece of Heart.

Simply summon a bed between the two pillars, stand on it and use a Crawltula Echo to climb up it with ease.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #2: (Inside a Cave)

By entering the cave, you need to climb down the ladder, use the ZL button to target the boulder furtherst away from you and use the Bind ability to pair yourself up to the boulder. Except, instead of entering the cave via the main entrance, you need to make your way up onto the high ledge above the entrace, with the three trees in a line horizontally. To the left of those trees is a dirt spot. By using the Holmill Echo on the dirt spot, it will create a pit. Fall into the pit to enter the cave and collect the Piece of Heart.

Suthorn Prairie Piece of Heart #1:
Towards the northeast of Suthorn Prairie, players will find a section of columns of various sizes around one elongated column in the center. Standing proud with a small square body of water around it, there are multiple methods one can use to solve how to get it, but for us, we used the Old-Bed Echo to create a floating platform. We then used the Crawltula Echo, and had the Crawltula cross the Old-Bed to reach central pillar, then by using the Bind ability and holding R for a Reverse Bind, the Crawltula carried us up the column and into the Piece of Heart.
Suthorn Village Piece of Heart #1: (Suthorn Village Shop)
Just as soon as players reach Suthorn Village, as long as you have been collecting every Rupee you can, by visiting the local shop, players will be able to purchase the Piece of Heart for 80 Rupees.

Head over to the shift, use Bind to move the wooden structure and reveal the entrance. Once inside the Wrecked Ship, navigate the series of rooms, solving the puzzles as you go until you come across the mini dungeon’s boss. Beat the boss to reveal the Piece of Heart.
Zora Cove Piece of Heart #3:
Immediately southwest of the Stamp Stand on an island in Zora Cove, there is rocky structure on the seafloor that can be blown up. Use the Bombfish Echo to destroy the cracked rocks and reveal the Piece of Heart and dive down to collect it.
