The time has come for Princess Zelda to set out on her very own adventure in the all-new The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for the Nintendo Switch, and because it’s dangerous to go alone, we’re on hand with a small series of guides to help you, the player find your way in this new Hyrule.
In this guide, we are detailing every Piece of Heart that can be discovered in Hyrule Field:
Every Hyrule Field Heart Piece in Echoes of Wisdom:
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #1:
By heading west from Hyrule Rnch, players can expect to encounter a large body of water with a tall pillar near the center of it. As long as Tri has been powered up at least once, players need only to use a combination of the Old-Bed Echo and the Crawltula Echo, to scale up the first pillar and then repeat the process to go from the smaller pillar to the taller one with the Piece of Heart on it. Simply summon a bed between the two pillars, stand on it and use a Crawltula Echo to climb up it with ease.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #2: (Inside a Cave)
To the far west of Hyrule Field, players can encounter a Stamp Stand on a high up ledge, with a cave entrance a few levels down, to the right of it. By entering the cave, you need to climb down the ladder, use the ZL button to target the boulder furtherst away from you and use the Bind ability to pair yourself up to the boulder. If done right, walk in the direction of the Piece of Heart and the first boulder will move freely, with Zelda pushing the boulder closest to her, into the hole. Collect the Piece of Heart once the second boulder has dropped into the small hole.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #3:
Just north of Hyrule Castle Town, a Piece of Heart can found on the ground between grass. To collect it, you need only to make your way to the main, (south) entrance of Hyrule Castle Town and head right, following the outskirts of Hyrule Castle Town. Round all the way around the eastern side of the town, passing the bridge and continuing upwards until you run straight into the Piece of Heart.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #4:
By heading northwest of Hyrule Castle Town, just south of Eternal Forest, a Piece of Heart can be found inside the cave pictured below. Except, instead of entering the cave via the main entrance, you need to make your way up onto the high ledge above the entrace, with the three trees in a line horizontally. To the left of those trees is a dirt spot. By using the Holmill Echo on the dirt spot, it will create a pit. Fall into the pit to enter the cave and collect the Piece of Heart.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #5:
West of Hyrule Castle Town, a Piece of Heart can be found atop a pillar amongst some ruins. Climb onto the broken wall below the pillar with the Piece of Heart on it and use the Old-Bed Echo to build a bridge over to the Piece of Heart.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #6:
Southwest of Hyrule Castle Town, and east of Hyrule Ranch, there is a small forest area. Find the opening route south of the forest outcropping and head towards the center. Here you will find the Piece of Heart on a tree stump with six trees surrounding it. Use any preferred Echo to jump onto the tree stump to get the Piece of Heart.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #7:
From Kakariko Village, head northeast of the windmill to find the NPC wearing an Acorn Hat. Pay 10 Rupees to play his Acorn Gathering minigame and if you collect all 11 acrons in under 20 seconds, he will give you a Piece of Heart.
Hyrule Field Piece of Heart #8:
West of Kakariko Village, you can encounter a large boulder. By using a combination of Echoes and jumps, Use Bind on the boulder and move it out of its hole to reveal the Piece of Heart.
