[Guide] REYNATIS | How to Unlock Outfit Selection -

Now that September 27, 2024 has arrived, the western release of REYNATIS for the Nintendo Switch has finally arrived. As an RPG with plenty to do in-game, we felt it was only fitting to create a small series of guides, dedicated to key aspects of the game. In this guide, we are detailing how to unlock Outfit Selection:

How to Unlock Outfit Selection:

As an RPG, REYNATIS is a game you can easily sink thirty or more hours into and as such, it’s a good thing that for anyone who likes a cosmetic change, REYNATIS has you covered, sort of.

In the base game, the only unlockable costume for each character can only be obtained by beating all 33 Chapters REYNATIS has to offer. Once you have accomplished such a feat and booted up your completed save file, you will unlock “Clear Bonus Costume” for REYNATIS’ six playable characters but don’t get your hopes up. Instead of a recolour, all the Clear Bonus Costume is, is each character in their current costume, with their hood/goggles off.

However, since REYNATIS does have DLC that adds new costumes, for players who wish to get the Clear Bonus Costumes sooner, you can purchase it as a DLC pack, or purchase the “Another” Color Costume DLC pack, to purchase costumes that have been recoloured. Shuld either DLC pack prove to be a tad too pricey, You can always download the free DLC packs that add Marin and Sari’s Formal Wear, the Ultimate Wizard Bundle, or even Marin’s “Another” Weapon.

But, by purchasing the DLC, or downloading the free costumes, you will be able to unlcok Outfit Selection sooner rather than later. As for how to change outfits, players need only to go to the status screen, pick the character they wish to alter and select Outfit Selection. From here you can choose between Normal Outfit, No Hood and in Masayoshi Dogo’s case, No Goggles.
