Since the introduction of amiibo on June 10, 2014, the toys-to-life product has gone on to be compatible with four pieces of hardware (Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 2DS XL, Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo Switch) and despite many times when it looked like Nintendo were starting to move away from amiibo, they’d surprise us with new ones and 2024 is no exception.
