The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has quite a variety of returning characters from Breath of the Wild as well as new characters that have their parts to play in the game’s main story. Returning characters include the likes of the new champions of BOTW who are now leaders of their respective peoples (Riju, Sidon, Teba, and Yunobo) as well as Zelda, Impa, The Great Deku Tree, and Purah to name a few. The new characters include Rauru, the first king of Hyrule, Tauro, a researcher from Lurelin Village, Josha, a Sheikah researcher, and Yona, a Zora healer and Sidon’s partner.
When meeting these characters for the first time, their character profile will be added to your Purah Pad. There are 22 character profiles to be found in total, and while you won’t receive any reward for getting all 22 profiles, you will get a bio with a bit of background to each character as well as the race of people they pertain to.
