Well, this is a little unexpected, but here we are. Nintendo has announced a sequel to their 2017 Switch launch title 1-2-Switch. The game is titled Everybody 1-2-Switch! and it will be releasing on Nintendo Switch on June 30th, 2023. It will be priced at $29.99 (half the price of the original game) and pre-orders are available now.

Now, there were rumours going around that a sequel was possibly in the works, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Saying that, it is still a little unexpected that Nintendo went ahead and made a sequel to a game that had divided Switch owners back when it first launched with some enjoying the game and others treating it like a dumpster fire or saying that it should have came pre-packaged with the Switch at launch.

At the end of the day, though, we’re sure that some people will be genuinely excited for Everybody 1-2-Switch! We’ll even be picking it up ourselves and see how it compares to the original game. The real question is, will you be picking up the game come launch day? Do let us know in the comments!
