Want to know how to use amiibo in Fire Emblem Engage? This guide will tell you how and what rewards they will unlock.

Much like in Fire Emblem Three Houses, Fire Emblem Engage can use amiibo to unlock rewards. The feature is not available at the start and requires players to start Chapter 6. Once they do, you will need to return to The Somniel and a notification will pop up at the top of the screen saying that the amiibo Gazebo will be open. It will appear as the Bond tutorial pop-up shows on screen so don’t worry if you didn’t notice it. When you have control of Alear again, head towards the Orchard in the upper left part of the map. You will see an icon that looks like a little “i” which is meant to depict an amiibo figure (they could have just used the amiibo logo but hey ho).

Scanning amiibo

When you have reached the amiibo gazebo, you can interact with the stone pillar in the middle which will give you three options; Scan, Outfits, Songs. Choose Scan and then put your amiibo on the right Joy-Con joystick or in the middle of the Pro Controller. If you use a Fire Emblem amiibo, you will be rewarded with a Fashion Ticket and a Music Ticket. If you use a non-Fire Emblem amiibo, you will get a material reward instead (like iron ingot, pork, etc.). You can scan up to five amiibo a day so you will have to do it again for multiple days should you wish to scan all of your amiibo.

The Fashion Tickets and Music Tickets can be used in the other two options (Outfits and Songs). The Fashion Tickets can be used to unlock special outfits that can be worn by your characters. The outfits you can unlock will be limited at first to the three Emblem heroes on your team; Marth, Sigurd, and Celica. As you progress further into the game, you will gain access to more Emblem Heroes and will be able to unlock their outfits.

One thing that I must point out is that not all characters can wear any kind of hero outfit. For example, female Alear cannot wear Marth’s attire, much like Alfred cannot wear Celica’s attire. The clothing is somewhat restricted to male heroes’ clothing can only be worn by male characters and the female heroes’ clothing for the female characters. There are also some outfits that cannot be worn by certain characters regardless of if they are the same gender as the hero’s outfit in question.

Where To Change outfits

To change outfits that you have just unlocked at the amiibo Gazebo, you must go to the boutique in The Somniel’s plaza (lower right side and indicated with a t-shirt icon). Here you can buy clothing and accessories as well as change outfits. Here you can change the attire of any of the characters in your party and wear any of the outfits that you have unlocked/bought so far.

Where To Listen To Unlocked Songs

As for the song you unlock with Music Tickets, you would think you would be able to play them in on the Music player in the Café on The Somniel. Sadly, this is not the case however, but they can be played elsewhere. The specific songs that you unlock using the Music Tickets can be listened to when taking part in Paralogue Battles and other battles outside of the main story.

They can be set via the Settings Menu in System to play during the Player Phase and Enemy Phase in battle. Right at the very bottom of the Settings menu, you will find the options to change both Music Settings (Player Phase) and Music Settings (Enemy Phase).
