In Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain, you can test your Brain Grade in Test. This mode has you work through five exercises from five different categories (Analyse, Compute, Identify, Memorize, & Visualize). Your Big Brain Brawn score is then tallied up from your total score in each exercise and is then given a grade.
In order to get an S+ Brain Grade, you will need to acquire a score of 4000 or more (averaging 800 points per exercise). This can be rather challenging but there are things you can do to help increase your chances of a high score.
Use Touch Controls
Playing in Handheld/Tabletop Mode with touch controls is perhaps the most efficient way you can play Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain. You can respond to problems faster and you are less likely to mess up (though the odd slip-up can still happen). You can even use a stylus on the touchscreen which can make things even easier.
Average 800 points per exercise
Trying to get 4,000 points can seem like a lot of work but if you try to average 800 points per exercise, then you will be a lot closer to the goal then you think. If you get a particular exercise that you are really good at, try to go all out and get as many points as possible. This will give you a little leeway when you get an exercise you struggle with and the high score before can compensate the lower score.
Start with the right exercise
The test itself is hard enough and is sure to have a couple of exercises that you struggle with. If the first exercise is not one that you are particularly good at, simply press start and try the test again. The exercise will now change. If the exercise is still one you don’t like, just keep “restarting” until it is an exercise you can work with
Getting S+ Brain Grade video playthrough
The following video is taken from a camera pointing at the Switch screen while the console is in Tabletop mode. As you will be able to see, I used a Stylus and managed to score 4265 points.
