Disgaea 7 in the works?
Going by what Sohei Niikawa, president of Nippon Ichi Software, had to say for himself during a video transmission, the Disgaea series is set to continue thank to the entire series surpassing 5 million sales worldwide.
This is terrific news as it’s a good indicator that the wait time between Disgaea 6 and a possible Disgaea 7 won’t be as far apart like 2015’s Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance and 2021‘s Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny and should you wish to hear the president’s exact wording, we have that here:
“We just released Disgaea 6, but I’m sure some of you are already wondering what’s next for the series. Of course, we’re planning to keep it going. Though I can’t really talk about when that may be or what it’s going to be like yet, we would like to take into account all of the feedback we’ve received about Disgea 6 from players in America, Europe, Japan, Asia, and everywhere else, so that we can make sure everyone will enjoy the next one even more.”
