“Behold the [selling] power of the Monado!”

As we look over the latest numbers and details from Nintendo’s financial report, there are some impressive sale figures all round, especially when it comes to recent releases Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics.

Both have one on to sell more than 1 million units each, with Xenoblade getting the most at 1.32 million and Clubhouse selling 1.01 million. Still, they were not the only Switch games to sell more than a million copies as a few games proved successful between March 31, 2020 – June 30, 2020 and we’ve got those games right here:

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 10.63 million
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 1.97 million
  • (NEW) Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – 1.32 million
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 1.19 million
  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 1.15 million
  • (NEW) Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics – 1.03 million

We’re also going to take this moment to congratulate Ring Fit Adventure, which has now gone on to reach 4 million copies sold. Not bad at all for a game built using the same engine as Breath of the Wild.
