Pokémon Centers in Japan will be offering distribution codes for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! come next month. Chansey will be the first Pokémon to be made available for Pokémon: Let’s Go via serial code. The catch however is that the will only give out the serial codes to players during their birthday month. The distribution offer begins on the same day as Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! releases, on November 16th.
Whether offers like this will become available to the west is not yet known but it looks like The Pokémon Company will be honouring their tradition of Pokémon distributions on to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
