A new one coming soon?
It has been a confusing last couple of days in regards to Nintendo. First, a Nintendo Direct was announced to air on September 6th, then it was subsequently delayed due to an earthquake that took the life of at least 18 people and caused massive destruction, out of respect to those who had been affected.
Nintendo had, later on, tweeted details on the Direct and that we should expect it at a later time, but no concrete details were given as to when that would happen. Nintendo had pinned the tweet atop their Twitter page but has now unpinned it.
Due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have decided to delay this week’s planned Nintendo Direct. We will provide a new time and date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding. pic.twitter.com/IITgJFtzub

This could mean that they are getting ready to make an announcement on when the Direct will air (or if it has been canceled altogether). There have been details that have been revealed as far as games for Switch (Civilization VI) or information about its online (some games not supporting Cloud Saves), and we believe that some of that information was originally supposed to have been shared on the Direct, but has instead leaked.
Make sure to follow Nintendo’s Twitter page (as well as our website) with information on the Direct as soon as it is shared by Nintendo.
