Having released an update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a little over three weeks ago, to support Nintendo Labo, and teasing more updates for the Switch racing game, a new update has just dropped and it is Legendary.

Version 1.6.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has arrived and it adds Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as an alternate skin for Link, and he even comes with the Master Cycle Zero. The update some fans have asked for, has arrived and the full patch notes can be seen below, along with a trailer:

  • New character added: Link (Champion’s Tunic)
  • New vehicle added: Master Cycle Zero
  • New tires added: Ancient Tires
  • New glider added: Paraglider
  • Update includes revisions to improve gameplay, as well as some content not listed here.
