There’s Life in the Old Dog Yet! Further Updates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are Planned

During a new video posted by Nintendo of America, entitled “Ask Mr. Takahashi,” the head of software development made a comment regarding Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that has us tilting our heads.

Having brought up the ability to use Nintendo Labo’s Toy-Con Motorbike, Shinya Takahashi goes on to say that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has further updates planned and that he hopes fans will look forward to. He then proceeds to talk about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a game he is currently playing, still being surprised by and recommends to everyone. He then moves on to playable Inklings in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion and free updates “all the way up to December.” The video in question can be seen below:
