Octopath Traveller has officially released on Nintendo Switch and a new overview trailer has been uploaded to the Nintendo YouTube Channel. The trailer gives an insight in the the many different classes, paths, and enemies that you will encounter. You find the trailer below along with the official press release.



The new Overview Trailer for the game offers a comprehensive look at the game’s exciting features

13th July, 2018 – Set out on a grand adventure as one of eight protagonists, each with their own origin, talents, and goals. Where will your journey begin? Who will you team up with? And where will you go next? All these decisions and more are completely up to the player in Octopath Traveler which launches today exclusively forNintendo Switch. To celebrate the launch, players can enjoy the new Overview Trailer that offers an in-depth look at the game’s many features and varied gameplay systems.

In Octopath Traveler, players will meet eight unique travellers each with their own personal story to discover. By using the characters’ special abilities, known as Path Actions, players can interact with the vast world and employ advanced tactics using the Boost system in engaging turn-based battles. Octopath Traveler is an original role playing game from SQUARE ENIX that can be played anytime, anywhere on Nintendo Switch.

Octopath Traveler is available for Nintendo Switch, as a digital download via Nintendo eShop, and as a physical version at retail. Also available from today is the Octopath Traveler: Traveler’s Compendium Edition, a special edition of the game that includes a stylised pop-up book, a helpful map for your adventure and a replica coin based on the in-game currency. Players can also try the game for free with the Prologue Demo, a special demo version available in Nintendo eShop that includes the first chapter of each traveller’s tale. Game progress saved in the demo can be carried over to the full game.
