A treehouse live segment at E3 has revealed that the challenge battle mode for Expansion Pass owners will launch this Friday at 10:00pm PT.
Fiora & Shulk from the original game will also be made available as blades for use during this new mode.
The Challenge Battle Mode will include increased difficulty challenges for various boss fights, and also challenges against different waves of enemies. As you complete challenges, you’ll earn currency that can be used in a special shop. The shop will allow you to purchase & unlock new costumes for your Blades and characters.
