The second Global Mission for Pokémon Sun & Moon, has come and gone and just like the first mission, it too ended with failure.

We were tasked with the goal of collectively catching/defeating 1 million Island Scan and we had from December 27th 2016 to January the 9th 2017, to make it happen, but it didn’t. Even though the goal was much smaller this time around, we could still only do 661,839 Pokémon. It is something of a shame as it wasn’t an impossible goal, 100,000 players could have easily achieved it, had they each caught 10 Island Scan Pokémon during time period ran for.

The good news however is while we may have failed, we still get a participation reward of 217 Festival Coins (would have been 2,017 FC had we have made it). Or 434 FC for those who had registered their Game Sync to the Pokémon Global Link, which can be collected as of now.

Better luck next time trainers.
