Dual-type cards arrive in Pokémon TCG Pocket as Dual Fusion goes live worldwide.

The next major expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, Dual Fusion, went live on October 28, 2026 at 18:00 PDT (01:00 on October 29, 2026 UK).

This marks the debut of dual-type Pokémon cards in the mobile game, headlined by the Psychic- and Fighting-type Mega Mewtwo X ex and the Water- and Darkness-type Mega Greninja ex. Fan-favourites including Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise also receive new cards and artwork.

The expansion coincides with significant gameplay and collection changes. These include a shift from a roughly four-week booster pack cycle to roughly six weeks, the addition of Community Decks, unlimited-use Rental Decks tied to the latest sets, Immersive cards as mission rewards, Special Pack: First Partners, and improvements to trading and sharing tools.

Six Dual Fusion rental decks are available until December 15, 2026 at 17:59 PST. A new elite deck featuring Mega Rayquaza ex has been sent to Gifts. The Second Anniversary Celebration Campaign runs until mid-December. Mega Greninja-themed covers and backdrops arrive from October 31.

Dual Fusion represents the start of the game’s C Series and its second anniversary period.
