On September 24, 2026, The Pokémon Company revealed the next Themed Booster Pack for Pokémon TCG Pocket. Titled Deluxe Pack: Mega (B4b) and scheduled to release on September 30, 2026, the new set looks back at every B Series expansion released so far.

Pokémon TCG Pocket: Deluxe Pack: Mega Expansion Is Coming Soon:

Are you ready to add some mega might to your card collection? Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s next expansion, Deluxe Pack: Mega, launches on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, promising tons of cool cards for your ever-growing collection.

Deluxe Pack: Mega features many cards introduced in previous expansions, from Mega Rising to Ruler of the Skies, including reissues of every ♦♦♦♦ card from those expansions! These four-card packs are guaranteed to include one Pokémon ex, so this is a great opportunity to pull rare cards you might have missed out on. Plus, you’ll be able to snag fancy parallel foil cards or cards with awesome new artwork.

You can show off your powerful new cards with covers and backdrops featuring the magnificent Mega Charizard X, available starting Wednesday, September 30.

Upcoming Changes to Pokémon TCG Pocket:

Toward the end of October 2026, certain in-game features are being reworked to improve the player experience, so look forward to some big changes!

First, a community decks feature will be added that allows you to search for decks that other players have made public, which you can build if you own the cards.

While your current rental decks will be deleted, you’ll be able to rent decks with cards from the latest booster packs and use them an unlimited number of times in both solo and versus battles! Theme deck lists and deck missions will also be discontinued.

Additionally, step-up battles will be reworked into a new and exciting solo-battle system, where the difficulty increases as you progress through the stages. Following this update, the current step-up battles will no longer be available, and you won’t be able to obtain first-time rewards or battle tasks from them.

Finally, Release Celebration: Poké Gold deals will no longer be available with the start of this new series, so now is your last chance to purchase them in-game or through the official web store.

More features and changes will be announced as we get closer to the update, so keep an eye out for details!

Event Overview:

There will be plenty of events available alongside this release to help you sharpen your skills and expand your collection.

Late September to early October: A mass outbreak event will bring parallel foil cards to rare picks and bonus picks! Event missions will also be available, allowing you to earn shop tickets for picking and collecting certain cards.

Mid- to late October: Earn more rank points than usual during Ranked Match Season B4b SP. The win streak bonus has also been expanded to a maximum of ten consecutive wins, and you will not lose any rank points or drop down in rank when defeated, regardless of your rank.

You can also complete solo battles to score B Series vol. 13 promo packs during the Mega Garchomp ex Drop Event and collect charming Charmander and Drampa cards during a wonder pick event.
