With FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE set to release on October 22, 2026, PlayStation’s State of Play has revealed that the console adaptation of the smartphone game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will receive a demo, which is available today. All progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game.

Get a Head Start on the Adventure and Transfer Save Data to the Full Game When it Launches on Oct. 22
During today’s Sony State of Play showcase, SQUARE ENIX gave fans a new look at FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE, the first HD-2D game in the FINAL FANTASY series. In the action-packed trailer, it was revealed that the iconic Sephiroth will be making an appearance in the upcoming game, with players able to find and challenge him in hopes of winning and unlocking a special reward. Additionally, SQUARE ENIX launched a free FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE demo on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, XBOX Series X|S, PC via Steam® and XBOX on PC. Players can get a head start on their journey through the Kingdom of Grandshelt by playing the game’s opening through the first chapter (approximately 3-5 hours of gameplay), with save data carrying over to the full game when it launches on Oct. 22, 2026
