On June 2, 2026, Nintendo released a new update for Nintendo Music on both Android and iOS.
Version 1.6.0 introduces several key improvements, including support for large-screen devices as well as full compatibility with Android Auto and CarPlay.

Nintendo Music | Android Ver. 1.6.0 Patch Notes: (Released June 2, 2026)
- The app now supports full-screen display on devices with large screens, including tablets and foldables.
- The app now Android Auto on your car’s display.
- You can use voice commands to search for tracks when using Android Auto.
Nintendo Music | iOS Ver. 1.6.0 Patch Notes: (Released June 2, 2026)
- The app is now supported on iPad.
- The app now supports CarPlay on your car’s built-on display.
- Searching for tracks through Siri is now supported.

- Extended Playback – Lengthen the duration of certain tracks to 15, 30, or 60 minutes to enjoy an uninterrupted listening experience, great for enhancing the atmosphere while studying or working.
- Note: This feature is available only for certain tracks.
- Offline Playback – Download tracks to your device for offline listening.
- Background Playback – Play tracks in the background, while your device’s screen is off or if you’re using a different app.
- Create Playlists – Organize tracks into personalized playlists.
