With Pokémon Legends: Z-A available now on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, it’s only a matter of time before all types of events for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet dry up completely, but until that time actually comes, for January 2026, here is your dedicated outline of every Tera Raid Event, Mass Outbreak Event and Serial Code/Mystery Gift distribution planned for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet this month:

Tera Raid Event (5 Stars) | Challenge Walking Wake and Iron Leaves!

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Return to Tera Raid Battles! — From Friday, 19 December 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, 4 January 2026, at 23:59 UTC, Walking Wake will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in the Pokémon Scarlet game, and Iron Leaves will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in the Pokémon Violet game.

These Paradox Pokémon cannot normally be encountered in Paldea. The Walking Wake appearing during this event has Water as its Tera Type, and the Iron Leaves appearing during this event has Psychic as its Tera Type. Try joining Tera Raid Battles hosted by Trainers playing the other version of the game to help complete your Paradox Pokémon collection!

Be prepared—these Pokémon are formidable foes, and they’ve got the Mightiest Mark to prove it! Work together with your friends to defeat these powerful Tera Pokémon!

The special Pokémon featured in this event series can each be caught only once per save data. If you caught one of these Pokémon previously during a Tera Raid Battle event, you cannot catch it again. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against these Pokémon to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught them.
