With the end of April in sight, Pokémon TCG Pocket is ending the month with a bang. The third main expansion has been revealed, and this time, “Celestial Guardians” is a set all about Gen 7, thanks to the likes of Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex. Said to consist of more than 200 cards, Celestial Guardians also features an Immersive Supporter card (Lillie). A3 is set to go live on April 29, 2025 for those in the US and April 30, 2025 for those in Europe. For the full announcement, we have it here:
Upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Celestial Guardians Expansion Welcomes Pokémon from Alola Region
Today, The Pokémon Company group announced that the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app will soon release the new Celestial Guardians expansion, available around the world beginning April 30. In addition, players can look forward to an upcoming drop event and special missions.
New Celestial Guardians Expansion — In Celestial Guardians, players can discover many beloved Pokémon as seen in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games, with the expansion’s two new digital booster packs featuring the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. Players around the world can collect new cards from the Celestial Guardians expansion, including the Alola region’s first partner Pokémon: Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, by opening booster packs or by using the wonder pick feature.
Furthermore, beginning May 1 players can flaunt their favorite cards with new accessories including a binder cover and display board featuring Rowlet.
Upcoming Drop Event and Special Missions — From Tuesday, April 30 at 06:00 a.m. UTC to Monday, May 13 at 05:59 a.m. UTC, players can take on special solo battles to obtain new promo cards, including one featuring Rayquaza ex. In addition, players will be able to participate in special missions for an opportunity to receive a different Rayquaza ex promo card as well as various new accessories and other rewards. These special missions will be playable from Tuesday, April 30 at 06:00 a.m. UTC to Wednesday, May 29 at 05:59 a.m. UTC.

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Half-Year Celebration
This brand-new expansion isn’t the only thing to look forward to—a special round of missions and solo battles are starting on April 29, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to celebrate Pokémon TCG Pocket’s half-year anniversary! Until May 12, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PDT, take on solo battles to earn Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters that contain a stunning promo card—including the regal Rayquaza ex! You can also add a full-art version of Rayquaza ex (and a few other goodies) to your collection by completing special missions until May 28, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.
