Seek Out Lots of Chansey and Train Up Your Party! — Get ready to take a chance on Chansey! From Friday, 29 November 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, 5 January 2025, at 23:59 UTC, Chansey will be appearing in mass outbreaks throughout the Paldea region.

Defeating these Chansey will yield lots of Exp. Points, so use this opportunity to train up the Pokémon in your party and prepare for the Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid Battle event starting Friday, 20 December!

Tera Raid Event (5 Stars) | Shiny Rayquaza Appears!

Catch a Shiny Rayquaza in This Special Tera Raid Battle Event!From Friday, 20 December 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, 5 January 2025, at 23:59 UTC, Shiny Rayquaza will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles! The Rayquaza appearing during this event has Dragon as its Tera Type.

Shiny Rayquaza cannot normally be encountered during regular gameplay, so don’t miss your chance to welcome this Legendary Pokémon into your adventuring party!

The Shiny Rayquaza appearing in this event can be caught only once per save data. As long as the event is running, you can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Rayquaza to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught it.

Shiny Rayquaza may be featured in future events or become encounterable through other methods.

About Shiny Rayquaza:

Rayquaza is a Legendary Pokémon that debuted in the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire games, which released on the Game Boy Advance in 2002 in Japan. According to the Pokédex in the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl games, it lives in the ozone layer far above the clouds and cannot be seen from the ground.

The Rayquaza appearing in this event is Shiny and has black coloration differentiating it from other Rayquaza. Shiny Rayquaza has made various appearances throughout the Pokémon franchise, such as in Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Pokémon Masters EX, and Pokémon UNITE.

Shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks, so have fun seeking out Pokémon that have black coloration when Shiny—just like Rayquaza!
