Dylan Connolly: (Game Developer)

Name/Known Alias: dconn.

Occupation: Game Developer.

Best Known for/Notable Works: RUBATO.

Fun Fact: I make really good French toast.

How did you make your break into the industry: We’ll have to see if RUBATO does well before I can answer this!

Favourite Projects to have Worked on: RUBATO (I love it!)

Hardest Projects to have Worked on: RUBATO (I hate it!)

Currently Working on: RUBATO (Still in development…)

Currently Playing: I’ve been on a Bethesda binge recently for some reason. I know everyone says New Vegas is the best Fallout game, but the stupid settlement building stuff in Fallout 4 has me hooked in..

Currently Watching: Dandadan is cool. I like Science Saru and the works of Masaaki Yuasa! I also need to finish Game of Thrones…

Defining Career Moment: Whenever RUBATO releases. Fingers crossed to 2025!

Throughout your career, of the many things you have since learned, is there anything you wish you knew at the beginning:  Lawyers are expensive. Really expensive. No one ever warns you of how expensive they actually really are.

If you had the opportunity to work with any IP, what would it be: Tetris: The Grandmaster. When I heard Arika were releasing a new TGM game in 2025, I immediately searched for job listings.

Is there anyone you haven’t worked with yet, but would like to: I’m honestly not sure! There’s loads of cool people out there. That’s the nice thing about the world we live in, isn’t it?

For fans of your work, who’d like to get in touch and stay up to date with all the latest news, what are the best places for them to reach you on: You can find @rubato_game on most social media sites and wishlist the game on Steam!
