With 22 playable characters, over 110 minigames and multiple new features, Super Mario Party Jamboree, is available now on the Nintendo Switch! And yet, since its two newest characters have to be unlocked in-game, in this guide we’re covering how to get Ninji in Super Mario Party Jamboree:

How to Get Ninji in Super Mario Party Jamboree:

With 20 characters available from the outset and two more needing to be unlocked, players will be delighted to know that unlocking Pauline and Ninji is simple. Instead of needing to complete any specific game mode or getting a perfect score on a certain minigame, both characters can be unlocked at your earliest convenience.

To unlock Ninji, once players have booted Super Mario Party Jamboree up for the first time and endured the opening exploration, return to the Party Plaza and hop back into the hot-air balloon. Once airborne with your sights set on Mario Party, look to your left and keep looking left until you see a raised rocky island with a smaller rocky island to the immediate right of Rhythm Kitchen.

Hold the directional up button to zoom in on the taller rocky island and on the grass you will see Ninji emitting a golden glow. Once you have zoomed in on Ninji enough, you will be prompted to press the directional right button. The Yellow Toad will talk about Ninji and when the Toad is finished, you will have successfully have recruited Ninji and are now able to select Ninji as a playable character.
