With 22 playable characters, over 110 minigames and multiple new features, Super Mario Party Jamboree, is available now on the Nintendo Switch! And yet, since its two newest characters have to be unlocked in-game, in this guide we’re covering how to get Pauline in Super Mario Party Jamboree:

With 20 characters available from the outset and two more needing to be unlocked, players will be delighted to know that unlocking Pauline and Ninji is simple. Instead of needing to complete any specific game mode or getting a perfect score on a certain minigame, both characters can be unlocked at your earliest convenience.
To unlock Pauline, once players have booted Super Mario Party Jamboree up for the first time and endured the opening exploration, return to the Party Plaza and hop back into the hot-air balloon. Once airborne with your sights set on Mario Party, look to your right and keep looking right until you see a sandy island to the left of Minigame Bay.
Hold the directional up button to zoom in on the sandy island to see Pauline emitting a golden glow with a deckchair and parasol to her left. Once you have zoomed in on Pauline enough, you will be prompted to press the directional right button. The Yellow Toad will talk about Pauline and when the Toad is finished, you will have successfully have recruited Pauline and are now able to select her as a playable character.
