Welcome to the party!
With one Splatfest on the way in August, Nintendo has just announced a Splatfest for September, which asks players to choose between Past, Present and Future. Only, the Grand Festival doesn’t end there for two new amiibo sets have also been announced for Splatoon 3, and they’ll be available from September 5, 2024.
The sets consist of a Side Order set, which features Pearl and Marina (Off the Hook from Splatoon 2) and a Alterna Set, which features Callie and Marie (Squid Sisters from Splatoon).
Splatoon 3 Splatfests Reach a Crescendo with the 72-Hour Music-Filled Grand Festival!
From the minute your Inkling or Octoling arrives at the train station and walks through the ink shower unscathed you’ll understand why this is a Splatfest* like no other.
And it’s going to look – and sound – a little something like this:
The biggest Splatfest ever for the Splatoon 3 game on the Nintendo Switch system runs from Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. PT to Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. PT and features a three-day festival of music, ink-splashed competition and community fun for players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership. That’s right – this time it’s not just Anarchy Splatcast hosts Deep Cut who is getting in on the act! All three idol groups – Deep Cut, Squid Sisters and Off the Hook – will be performing during the event as players try to answer the impossible question, “Which is the most important to you: Past, Present or Future?”
So get ready to explore the festival grounds during the 72-hour Splatfest, because who knows what other surprises might be in store?
Plus, what music fest would be complete without physical merch? On September 5, you can snag new amiibo figures** featuring the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook as they appear in the Splatoon 3 story mode and the paid DLC***, Side Order! And keep an eye out for limited edition event-themed T-shirts and My Nintendo wristbands – there will be more details to come on the My Nintendo site, so be sure to check in as September approaches.
