[Guide] Super Mario Bros. Wonder | Every Fluff-Puff Peaks Wonder Seed & Flower Coin

With Super Mario Bros. Wonder available now on the Nintendo Switch, the time has come to embark on a wonderful 2D adventure. Mario is back with the extended gang, resulting in a playable roster of 12 characters and with eight worlds to conquer in the Flower Kingdom, we’re on hand to walk you guys through how to obtain every Wonder Seed and Flower Coin available.

To kick things off, we’re going to do a quick little walkthrough to explain the purples of Flower Coins, Wonder Flowers, Wonder Seeds and Secret Exits before diving into World 2: Fluff-Puff Peaks:

What are Flower Coins?

Flower Coins are large purple coins that can be found on given stages. Some will be obviously visible when exploring through levels, but others can be hidden and require players to meet a certain requirement to revel them. On stages where Flower Coins are present, there are three to be found and all are required to count towards a level’s complete completion.

What are Wonder Flowers?

Wonder Flowers are an item players can encounter during a level, which once interacted with, unleashes a Wonder Effect that immediately impacts the current stage. Where there is a Wonder Flower, there is always a Wonder Flower waiting to be discovered.

What are Wonder Seeds?

Wonder Seeds are the main collectable this time around, with Mario and friends needing to collect them in order to advance through the game. One Wonder Seed will always be given to the player upon completing a stage, but a second one can be obtained by activating the Wonder Flower and traversing the Wonder Effect to collect the Wonder Seed.

On some levels, it is possible there is a third Wonder Seed available, but in order to acquire it, players will need to discover the Secret Exit in order to obtain it. Wonder Seeds can also be purchased for 100 Purple Coins at Poplin Shops and through completing Challenge levels.

What are Secret Exits?

Not present on every level, Secret Exits are a secondary exit players can discover by taking a different route and encountering a second Flagpole at the end of the level. Jumping on the Flagpole will end the current level and reward players with a new Wonder Seed.

Every World 2: Fluff-Puff Peaks Wonder Seed & Flower Coin:

Outmaway Valley:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 3

Flower Coin #1: Where you see two Outmaway kicking a large ice block, defeat them and head over to the handle and pull it free to get the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: After the second yellow pipe, you will see an Outmaway on a ledge with three ice blocks that they will kick. Beneath the ledge is a pit, which when you fall down, takes you to the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Immediately after the checkpoint flag, there is a giant ice block that gets created next to an Outmaway. Jump on the ice block and allow the Outmaway to kick it and the ride the block. You will need to quickly jump over a platform in your path to get back on the block and then jump through the Flower Coin to safety.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: After the first checkpoint, when you come across a large ice block and melt it with Fower power to reveal a glowing spot on the ground. Doing a ground slam on the spot will cause the Wonder Flower to appear and trigger its Wonder Effect. An avalanche will commence and players can ride the rotating avalanche past the Flagpole all the way to the Flower Seed.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Secret Exit / Wonder Seed #3: Once the Wonder Effect has ended, continue right and leap onto the Flagpole.

Pokipede Pass:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: On the grid-like track where you see a Pokipede, make your way to the elevated platform on the left to reach the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Easily visible to the right-hand side of the screen when following the main path, make sure you go and over before doubling back on yourself, heading left to drop down to where you can destroy the snow blocks to get to the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: After you find the Wonder Flower, there is a canopy where you will see a Pokipede up top. Clear away the snow to reveal the Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: Easily visible, a Pokipede will come along and destroy the grey blocks, allowing you to activate the Wonder Flower. The Wonder Effect will cause a massive snowstorm with snow blocks forming.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Condarts Away!:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: The Flower Coin can be found next to a Condart lurking beneath a platform.

Flower Coin #2: Once you have collected the first Flower Coin, head upwards and leap onto the top of the platform and run to the left. Hit the blocks to reveal a Propeller Flower and ride the zip tracks to get the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Luring a Condart, make it destroy two vertical lines of blocks and enter the pipe. Now get a Condart to hit the POW block to get the Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: In the area where you see a Condart lurking above small platforms either side of it, bounce onto the Condart to reach the Wonder Flower. Once activated, the Wonder Effect swaps 2D gameplay for a top-down perspective segment. Follow the path and smash the necessary blocks to get the Wonder Seed.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Pole Block Passage:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: Visible to your left, there is a pole block that you can hit to extend a pole, allowing you to reach the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Near the pipe that spawns Koopa Troopas, there is a pole block you can ground pound. Hit it to make a pole extend, allowing you to get the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Near the second Flower Coin, grab a Koopa Troopa’s shell and throw it at into a pole block to extend a pole that will allow you to get the final Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: Hit a pole block, extending it so you can climb it to reach a platform with a Talking Flower. Strike it to reveal the Wonder Flower. This time around, the Wonder Effect sees many poles created, which you can climb on to collect five Wonder Tokens and collect the Wonder Seed.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Up ‘n’ Down with Puffy Lifts:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: On the Puffy Lift that goes downwards, stand on it and head over to the first Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Where you come across the large Puffy Lift near where spike balls are formed, stand on the lift and have the spike ball roll onto the glowing spot to your left to make the Flower Coin appear.

Flower Coin #3: Defeat the Galoomba that spawns from a pipe and drops down onto a Puffy Lift and ride the lift upwards to the Wonder Flower. The Wonder Effect will see your character transformed into a Puffy Lift and you will need to navigate a small maze to collect the Wonder Seed.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Jump! Jump! Jump!:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: Taking a small detour via an upper-left platform, you will come across the first Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Simply follow the main path and you will reach the second Flower Coin with minimal effort.

Flower Coin #3: Continue following the main path and you will reach the third Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: The Wonder Flower is triggered at the beginning of the stage, with the Wonder Effect resulting in the entire stage becoming a time-based jumping expedition.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Countdown to Drop Down:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: Enter the first green pipe you come across to access a new area to get the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Where you see floating flower bud, strike the directional blocks upwards to at the moving flower bud to create a cloud bridge. Use the clouds to access a green pipe and proceed to a new area where you need to throw a POW block to get the Flower Coin to drop down.

Flower Coin #3: Where you see the second changing power0up block, steal a Lakitu’s cloud and ride it to the final Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: Once you have stolen a Lakitu’s cloud, ride it go beneath the yellow pipes to get the Wonder Flower. The Wonder Effect causes a free-fall segment, featuring a Super Star shower and Smogrin.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Cruising with Linking Lifts:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 2

Flower Coin #1: This Flower Coin will be dropped by a bird flying above, jump up to grab it when you see it.

Flower Coin #2: When the first Linking Lift ride finishes, stay on the lift and crawl to the right to hit a flower bud, causing the Flower Coin to appear.

Flower Coin #3: When riding the second Linking Lift, the third Flower Coin will be seen floating above you. Beneath it, there will directional blocks you can hit upwards to get the Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: This Wonder Seed can be found by the second Linking Lift. When hit, the Wonder Effect will see Lakitus throwing objects at you, which you will need to avoid to collect five Wonder Tokens.

Wonder Seed #2: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Badge Challenge: Wall-Climb Jump II:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 1

Flower Coin #1: When you start climbing upwards ascent, climb up to the right and then make your way over to the left-hand side of the screen, dropping down to reach it.

Flower Coin #2: Easily visible to the right, wall-climb jump upwards to gain some height and then jump into the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Near the end of the jumping segment, instead of going up through the center platform, use the red rotating platform to jump off to your left to reach the Flower Coin.

Wonder Seed #1: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Badge Challenge: Floating High Jump I:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 1

Flower Coin #1: From the diagonal pipe near the start, run and jump to reach the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: From the platform with multiple Piranha Plant on it, leap towards the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Using the large pipes, run and jump over the giant Piranha Plant to reach the final Flower Coin.

Wonder Seed #1: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Expert Badge Challenge: Spring Feet I:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 1

Flower Coin #1: From the red platform with the checkpoint flag, run and jump into the Flower Coin to your right.

Flower Coin #2: From the blue platform with the checkpoint flag, run and jump into the Flower Coin to your right.

Flower Coin #3: After the green platform with a small bush on it, leap onto the moving yellow platform with a Talking Flower and jump up into the Flower Coin.

Wonder Seed #1: Reach the end of the stage and climb onto the Flagpole.

Fluff-Puff Peaks Flying Battleship:

Flower Coins: 3 | Royal Seed: 1

Flower Coin #1: After you encounter the firework inspired enemies for the first time in this stage, there will be some platforms for you to leap onto to reach the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: Using the fireworks inspired enemies, set them off and use them to destroy the brown blocks to clear the path to the pipe you will need to enter and collect the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: When you reach the second movable platform that fires Bob-ombs, push it all the way to the right to enter a green pipe and collect the Flower Coin.

Wonder Flower: Hidden above and trapped by destroyable blocks, use the firework inspired enemy to free the Wonder Seed. Once triggered, the Wonder Effect sees your character pursued by a target sight and shells are fired at you, capable of destroying breakable objects. Make it to the end to reach the Wonder Seed.

Royal Seed #1: Beat the mechanized boss to complete the stage.

Fluff-Puff Peaks Palace:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 1 | Royal Seeds: 1

Flower Coin #1: When you come across the Hammer Bros near the music blocks, head past them to the right and then come back on yourself to reach the lower platform and collect the

Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #2: With the Wonder Effect triggered, the second Flower Coin can be spotted lurking beneath a platform. Head to the lower pipe and head left, whilst crouching down, to collect the Flower Coin.

Flower Coin #3: Still with the Wonder Effect triggered, not long after you get the second Flower Coin, the third is lurking between platforms and you will need to crouch down to walk through a tight passage and collect it.

Wonder Flower / Wonder Seed #1: Between two pipes of equal height and a platform between them, stomp on one of the pipes to make the Wonder Flower appear and then stomp on another pipe to make it push the Wonder Flower to a place where you can reach it. Once activated, the Wonder Effect will make everything dark and make each character and enemy, stretchy. Head to the end of the area to find the Wonder Seed.

Royal Seed #1: Beat Bowser Jr. to complete the stage.

KO Arena: Fluff-Puff Kerufff:

Flower Coins: 3 | Wonder Seeds: 1

Flower Coin #1: Beat the KO Arena stage in 180 seconds or less.

Flower Coin #2: Beat the KO Arena stage in 120 seconds or less.

Flower Coin #3: Beat the KO Arena stage in 70 seconds or less.

Wonder Seed #1: Reach the end of the stage.

Search Party: Puzzling Park

Wonder Seeds: 1

Wonder Seed #1: Collect five hidden Wonder Tokens to reveal the Wonder Seed.

Break Time! Kick It, Outmaway:

Wonder Seeds: 1

Wonder Seed #1: Destroy the ice blocks the Outmaway kicks in your direction and survive until the end of the stage to get the Wonder Seed.

Break Time! Cloud Cover:

Wonder Seeds: 1

Wonder Seed #1: Collect five hidden Wonder Tokens to reveal the Wonder Seed.

Break Time! Zip-Go-Round:

Wonder Seeds: 1
