The retro 90’s shooter Rise of the Triad has been given a new lease of life on modern consoles with Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition. Much like the original game, the ludicrous edition allows players to use input codes on the cheat menu to get access to powerful weapons, power ups and other features that were previously tucked away in the original game.
Some of these features are readily available in the Ludicrous Edition from the get go like the Jukebox or diminishing the lighting and fog, but we have included the cheat codes for them anyway as the codes still work in the game. As for the cheats themselves, you will find them in the table on this page just below the “How To Use Cheats” section.
How to Use Cheats in Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition
First and foremost, if you are unsure where to access and input the codes in Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition, don’t worry as we have got your back. First of all, enter the pause menu by pressing the + button on the controller and then navigate down the menu until you find Options.
From here, go all the way to the bottom and select Secret Options to find the Cheat menu. Then, use the onscreen keyboard to type in DIPSTICK. This will now give you access to the Cheat menu, any cheats you have unlocked and other features as well. If you require a visual aid showing how to input the codes and a couple of them being used, we have uploaded a video to our YouTube channel and embedded it below.

We hope you find these cheats useful; Dog Mode is a particular favourite of ours and you can never go wrong with God Mode either. Of course, there are some cheats that we don’t really see the point of like “restart level” or “exit game” as you can easily do those things anyway from the pause menu. Still, they probably had use in the original game and were kept in for prosperity or, it was easier to keep them in than it was to take them out of the coding.
As always, until next time, Keep on Gaming!
