Further establishing the SteamWorld universe.
The SteamWorld series of games is Image & Form Games’ greatest IP and last November, Thunderful delivered some wonderful news, by announcing the next game in the series, SteamWorld Headhunter. No new details on the “stylized and colorful, third-person co-op action adventure with a head-popping twist” game have been shared since, but we do not it is a 3D entry into the series and takes place after the events of SteamWorld Dig 2.
Thunderful also went on to state other SteamWorld games are in the works and now thanks to the company’s latest financial results, albeit with code names, it has been revealed four SteamWorld games are in development and three are intended to release in 2023. Given how well received SteamWorld Heist was received, the fact that Caramel is a strategic turn-based tactical shooter game, it’s not too outside the realm of possibility that Caramel could be the sequel fans have all waited so long far, but nothing has been confirmed here today.
