Pokémon is starting to dominate…
Now that the latest sales numbers are in, it is time to bid “Sayonara” to Splatoon 2 as it has finally been kicked off Nintendo’s 10 Top Sellers list for the Nintendo Switch.
Ring Fit Adventure is just managing to hang in there, but with sales figures for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl in, the Sinnoh based remakes have managed to steal a spot for themselves and push Ring Fit Adventure into tenth. For the complete list, we have that information here:

Although not included in the list above, we also have a look at the first sales numbers for Pokémon Legends: Arceus. In Japan, first week physical sales of the game are reported at 1,425,000. A higher number than the 1,3696,000 sales that Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl managed to pull if it it’s first week of sale.
With such a promising line-up already, it would be interesting to see if any of 2022’s upcoming games has a chance of taking a Top 10 placement.
