The latest Capcom Collab event is now live for Monster Hunter Rise and this time around, it is an all new Layered Armor for your Palamute. The new layered armor is designed on Mega Man’s faithful companion Rush from Mega Man 11.
To get the Rush Costume Palamute Layered Armor, you will need to talk to Senri the Mailman and download the Event Quest The Blue Bomber’s Best Bud. You can then accept the Event quest from Minoto the Quest Maiden. It is a 6* High Rank Event Quest and it requires you to hunt a Zinogre in the Arena.
Taking down the Zinogre can be hard going but it isn’t overly tasking if you are a seasoned hunter. As with any hunt, be sure to prepare yourself with the necessary materials like potions, Armorskins, Demondrugs, and anything else that will aid you in your quest. Also by making the Event Quest a Join Request you can enlist the help of others to take the Zinogre down quicker.
After beating The Blue Bomber’s Best Bud Event Quest, you will earn Dog Bolts that are required to forge the Rush Layered Armor. You need four dog bolts, four Zinogre Scraps and 1080z to forge the armor but you may only receive one or two in a single session, so you may need to repeat the event quest a couple of times. After that, visit the Palico forger either in the guild or out in the village and then select Forge Layered Armor. From here, select Palamute and then press the R button to change the selection from Low/High Rank to Special. You will find the Rush Layered Armor here.
