Do you have a collection of amiibo figures gathering dust? Well, get ready to give them a once over as Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin is amiibo compatible.

Depending on the amiibo that you have, you can unlock different things in-game. Monster Hunter Stories amiibo can unlock layered armor for your hero. Monster Hunter Rise amiibo unlock Hunter Sticker sets. Any other amiibo that you have can reward players with items and materials. The kind of items you receive are pretty random so you could get anything from a Churro to a Godbug.

The biggest question that most of you will have is where can amiibo actually be used? In Monster Hunter Rise, you simply talk to the merchant but it is not the same for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin. Instead, you must go to the Prayer Pot of which there is one in each village that you visit.

You should be able to find these Prayer Pots next to a Bulletin Board where you accept quests from. When you interact with a Prayer Pot, you can select the amiibo option and then scam them on your Pro Controller or Joy-Con.

Scanning the amiibo will reward players with items as part of Tsukino’s Lottery. With Crescent Moon being not to great and Full Moon rewards being significantly better.

We hope this small guide helps you and at least answers the question on how to use amiibo in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin. We hope you continue to enjoy the game have have lots of fun taming Monsties and getting use out of your amiibo collection once again.

Until Next Time, Keep On Gaming!
