For those of you who are looking forward to Square Enix’ Balan Wonderworld coming to Nintendo Switch, a free demo is now available on the eShop. The demo includes parts of three worlds that can be played through. This is great for those looking to try the game out before buying it when it releases on March 26th, 2021.
I must warn those who download the Balan Wonderworld demo, it is a somewhat underwhelming experience on the Nintendo Switch. The cutscenes look incredible to the point that you’d think you were watching a Pixar motion picture. However, they are just a sugar coated frosting that hides the bigger issue. The graphics and frame rate of the actual game is disappointing and gameplay is not very exciting either. You can see what we mean in our gameplay demonstration video.
