[Guide] How To Claim Ash’s Pikachu in Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield

Want to get Ash’s Pikachu in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield? Well, now you can for a limited time!

The Pokémon Company has announced two new Pokémon distributions for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. The Pokémon are two variants of the cap-wearing Ash’s Pikachu of which eight will be available in total. The two currently available Pikachu can be claimed by using the following codes:

Pikachu (Original Cap) – P1KACHUGET
Pikachu (Partner Cap) – 1CH00SEY0U
Pikachu (Hoenn Cap) – P1KAADVANCE
Pikachu (Sinnoh Cap) – V0LTTACKLEP1KA
Pikachu (Inova Cap) – P1KABESTW1SH
Pikachu (Kalos Cap) – KAL0SP1KA
Pikachu (Alola Cap) – ULTRAP1KA
Pikachu (World Cap) – K1NP1KA1855

In order to use the codes if you are not familiar with the process, you must go to ‘Mystery Gift’ in the pause menu. From here, select ‘Get a Mystery Gift’ and then ‘Get with Code/Password’. Your console will connect to the internet and then ask you to type in the code(s). Type in the codes above to get your cap-wearing Ash’s Pikachu!

The codes are redeemable only once and are available until November 30, 2020. More codes for other Ash’s Pikachu will become available over time. We will add them to this guide as and when they are available.
