Perhaps a strange but understandable reveal, Bethesda’s Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be digital only on Nintendo Switch. Whilst you can get a physical box for the game, it will not come with a cartridge. Instead, it will come with a download code for the game instead.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood

While this is certainly a surprise, one only has to look at the price tag to understand why this is digital download only on Switch. At $29.99 without cart, the “Switch tax” would certainly bring the price up to $39.99 and make it more costly than other versions. Listings on both Amazon and GameStop have confirmed that Wolfenstein: Youngblood will not come with a cart and will require digital download.
