With the Q3 Financial Briefing underway, Nintendo has released holiday numbers of the Best-Selling Nintendo Switch Games to the general public, which helps us see how games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokémon Let’s GO Pikachu & Eevee performed during the Holiday season.

These numbers are not just limited to sales of the last three months, but for the Top 10 best-selling games it also gives us an illustration of how each game has sold during its lifetime, and how well they’ve performed against previous entries found on other consoles.  Here’s the breakdown.

Best-Selling Nintendo games on Nintendo Switch, between October & December 2019:

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 12.08 million (released on December 7th, 2018)
  • Pokémon Let’s GO: Pikachu & Eevee – 10 million (released on November 16th, 2018)
  • Super Mario Party – 5.30 million (released on October 5th, 2018)
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 3.31 million (Up from 1.36 million between July & September 2018)
  • Super Mario Odyssey – 1.59 million (Up from 1 million between July & September 2018)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 1.4 million (Up from 0.96 million between July & September 2018)
  • Splatoon 2 – 0.80 million (Up from 0.71 million between July & September 2018)
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – 0.41 million (Up from 0.27 million between July & September 2018)
  • Mario Tennis Aces – 0.37 million (Down from 0.78 million between July & September 2018)
  • Kirby Star Allies – 0.32 million (Up from 0.21 million between July & September 2018)
