The game development scenes is not exactly plain sailing and the can be circumstances that rear their ugly head at the worst of times. The development is going well for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night but the game has had its release date delayed until 2019 so that the dev team can improve the quality of the game.

The reason for this was due to the significant feedback that 505 Games received from the Backer Demo of the game. Bloodstained Creator Koji Igarashi has posted an update on the project’s official Kickstarter campaign and stated the following:

Hey everyone, we’re sorry to make you wait a little longer for Bloodstained, but you can trust that this really is in the best interest of the game – and our players. We assure you we’re using the extra time to make Bloodstained even better, based on your input.
