Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch has just succumbed to a minor setback and will no longer release for Nintendo Switch on May 25. The Solaire of Astora amiibo will still launch alongside the game when it releases in Summer.
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced this news on their Twitter account:
The Nintendo Switch version of #DarkSoulsRemastered will be pushed back to Summer 2018, as well as the Solaire of Astora amiibo. We apologise for the delay but rest assured, the extra time will improve your journey to Lordran.
PC/PS4/X1 versions is still coming 25th May 2018.

It has not been explained why Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch has been delayed until Summer. It may be to give a little extra time to work out bugs and optimize the game so it runs smoothly on Switch.
