Yesterday it was revealed that a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe/Switch bundle exists and that it is available from the Nintendo of Russia store, but keen to know more about the product, GameSpot got in touch with Nintendo to see what they had to say about the bundle.
So what did Nintendo have to say for themselves? Well while the bundle is in fact the real deal, it is only exclusive to Russia, so if you were hoping more bundles would be revealed for other countries, it’s time to say goodbye to those desires. But while the bundle is an exclusive this time around, Nintendo have said such a bundle could become available at a much later date as there are no plans for such a thing at this time.
It’s a shame the bundle is an exclusive, as it’s something that would have been well received in the States, but it is what it is. Maybe we’ll get lucky and a Splatoon2 bundle will be announced and when that time comes, you can expect to find news of it here at miketendo64.com!
