While Splatoon 2 is indeed getting a whole lot of new content, such as hair styles, weapons and some fun looking arena, it still has plenty of old arsenal that fans couldn’t get enough of in Splatoon 1.
Thanks to Nintendo UK, a new report from the Squid Research Lab has been “shared” and it entirely focuses on 5 classes of the weapons that will be making a comeback (albeit with some modifications) and we’ve gone ahead and compiled all the information and imagery so you can see it all right here, right now:
Splattershot:
“The tried-and-true Splattershot hasn’t changed drastically in Splatoon 2, so veteran Inklings will feel right at home with this weapon!”
Splat Charger:
“This is the Splat Charger in Splatoon 2. Its design has changed a little from the original game, as have the designs of the Splat Roller and the Splattershot. These classic weapons are still among the most popular with Inklings.”
Slosher:
“The crowd-favourite Slosher is also making a return in Splatoon 2. The keen-eyed observer may notice that slight cosmetic adjustments have been made to the Slosher’s handle and suspension arm.”
Splat Charger:
“This is the Splat Charger in Splatoon 2. Its design has changed a little from the original game, as have the designs of the Splat Roller and the Splattershot. These classic weapons are still among the most popular with Inklings.”
Splat Roller:
“You didn’t think we’d forgotten about the trusty Splat Roller, did you? Fear not, it’s back and just as brutal as ever.”
