Japan certainly do get all of the better stuff as far as Nintendo are concerned as two more Splatoon dioramas are set for release on July 7th the same day the new Splatoon amiibos release in Japan.

Sure you could say they get the better stuff because Nintendo is a Japanese company but that doesn’t make it better. What does make it a little better is these two new dioramas, one designed with Callie & Marie in mind, can be imported so it looks like a number of us are going to have to do just that!

Prior to these two, Splatoon already has three available dioramas, but none of those dioramas are a stage for Callie & Marie to perform on with a handy slot in the back of it, so you can place your 3DS or mobile device behind it and watch either one of the Squid Sisters live concert, giving you the feeling of “being there.” As for the price, each one costs ¥1,080 yen, (just under $10 dollars,) which is less than what buying a single amiibo cost, but that is without the cost of delivery and the rest.

Will you be picking up one of these new dioramas and a Squid Sister amiibo, if not both, or are you choosing to stay well clear? Let us know.
