Wizard ran out of mana, Knight’s armour proved hollow, and Ninja stealthily inked their way to the top of the Splatoween Splatfest.

The Splatoween 2026 Splatfest in Splatoon 3 has officially wrapped, and the results are in. Faced with the question “What would you be in a fantasy world?”, Inklings and Octolings worldwide threw their weight behind Team Wizard, Team Knight or Team Ninja.

It was a classic case of popularity versus performance. Team Wizard dominated the vote count with a massive 58.21% share of the popularity poll, but when the turf wars and Tricolor battles began in earnest they simply ran out of mana. Their final score of just 115 points left them stranded in third.

Team Knight looked strong at the halfway mark and posted solid numbers across Open, Pro and Tricolor Clout categories. In the end, though, all that shiny armour turned out to be mostly for show. They finished second on 360 points, a respectable performance, but not quite enough to claim the crown.

That left the door open for Team Ninja. They may have started with the smallest fanbase (just 24.23% of the votes), but they moved like shadows across the battlefield. Strong showings in every Clout category and a razor-thin edge in the Sneak Peek rankings added up to a decisive 395 point total. In true ninja fashion, they snuck up on the competition and claimed a stealthy, hard-earned victory.
