Nintendo Wii U

I have to say that I am loving the Nintendo Wii U. It may have been out for a fair while but it is now starting to pick up the pace. With Titles like Super Smash Bros Wii U and Hyrule Warriors and not to mention Mario Kart 10 plus all the DLC to make these games even more desirable and fun, I am in my gamers element. The Creme de la creme of course has to be the arrival of N64 games to the Wii U Virtual console.

I know a lot of people think by now it is a bit of a washout re-releasing these games on literally every console since the N64 but I for one am very happy and welcoming to it. For those that never had the privilege to own a N64 or had owned and through the ravishes of time lost, sold or the machine simply gave up the ghost. It was for me the highlight of my gaming experience. I am especially looking forward to the re-release of Ocarina of Time and to be able to play Majora’s Mask without it being via PC emulation.

Sorry, I got carried away there for a moment. I am currently expanding my Wii U Games Collection and so far have only 10 games. It doesn’t seem like many and I no longer possess any Wii titles as the games I own now are more or less improved versions or their predecessors (i.e SSB Wii U, Mario Kart 10). I find them to be a vast improvement and have much more replay value. I, like many others, am still waiting for the long time coming release of Zelda U but I would definitely welcome a Twillight Princess or Skyward Sword virtual console release.

I love the power advantage the Gamepad offers you when playing Local
Multiplayer games. When all you other friends only have the Wiimotes or Wii U Controller, etc. You have a separate field of vision that allows you to play out strategies you couldn’t before on previous consoles. The other plus is the ‘Off-TV’ Function on most games that make playing without the TV possible, especially when sharing said TV with family or a partner. the Audio Jack also make the Audio possible to hear and volume controls to alter the loudness or quietness of the in-game audio. That is is for me for now but I shall post again soon.
