All about amiibo!

Just in case Nintendo didn’t blow our minds enough today, the Big N has revealed both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will be getting Day 1 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition updates. Players will be able to purchase the new releases and begin playing them on June 5, 2025, or you can take advantage of your Nintendo Switch Online subscription and download the updates for free, but there’s more.

Much like how Breath of the Wild got an amiibo set of the game’s champions, Nintendo has revealed Tears of the Kingdom will be getting its very own Four Sages amiibo set. Featured in the set are: Tulin, Yunobo, Sidon, and Riju. The amiibo will release on June 5, 2025 and can be seen pictured below:

Additionally, a fifth amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has also been revealed, but no release date for the Mineru’s Construct amiibo has been provided just yet.
