It is pretty cool that we are going to get a virtual tour of sorts of the museum. However, Nintendo had to dampen the excitement around the announcement by putting out a second tweet to specifically state there would be no video game announcements or news pertaining to the Nintendo Switch successor.
Please note that there will be no game announcements or mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during this presentation.

We can understand why, though. As the Switch continues to live past its expected lifespan, gamers are itching to see what Nintendo’s next gen console is going to be and how it will perform. Still, the big N will eventually reveal the Switch successor eventually. It is only a matter of time. For now, though, let’s enjoy this little trip down memory lane as Nintendo celebrates its roots and rich history with the Nintendo Museum.
