In celebration of team Jackpot’s righteous win at the Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024, a new banner has been released for Splatoon 3. It is said the banner features the Octolings and Inklings used by the players of Team Jackpot. For those of you who would like to get it for yourselves, you can do so via the News section on your Nintendo Switch and click on any Splatoon 3 article about the free banner.
Once the article is open, scroll down and click on the launch software button. If you own Splatoon 3 physically, you will need to make sure the cartridge is in your Nintendo Switch and that the game is running on the latest update. (Version 8.0.0.). Once the game is booted up, head to the lobby console at your first convenience and collect your free banner. Below we have an except from one of the News articles you are looking for and imagery associated with the banner:
Hey there everyone! We hope you had a chance to see the recently held Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024. After battling through fierce competition in the regional preliminaries, six teams representing Japan, North America, Europe, Australia/ New Zealand, South Korea and Hong Kong/Taiwan faced off in the first official international Splatoon 3 tournament!
Two days of frenetic combat saw Jackpot, representing North America, crowned as the world champions. They showed themselves more than equal to the challenge of having to switch between a variety of loadouts depending on the stage and mode, carrying the day through a combination of teamwork and overwhelming force.
To commemorate their victory, we’ve created a special banner based on the team members’ Inklings and Octolings!
If you start Splatoon 3 using the button below, you’ll be able to pick the banner up from the lobby terminal in Splatsville. You don’t need to have participated in the World Championship – the banner is available for all players.
Congratulations to Jackpot on their well-earned victory!
