Welcome back to another M64 Latest, giving you a brief recap of news from the world of Nintendo as well as some personal insight into the happenings here at Miketendo64.
We have some more video game announcements to share and a little update on the internal side of things so rather than waste time, I shall get right on to it!
M64 Latest News: More Games Inbound For Switch
Today, we have three new video game announcements to share with you, One of which includes an announcement from our good friends over at Super Rare Games and another game that hits a little close to home with me and am actually intrigued in how it plays. “So what are these games?” you may ask. Well, here they are
Tools Up! Ultimate Edition
Tools Up! Ultimate Edition is couch co-op party game developed by Untold Tales and The Knights of Unity that can be played with up to four players. It is available today on Nintendo Switch and includes the base game, 45 DLC levels, and a new PvP mode.
In Tools! Up! players must work together in order to renovate homes and apartments that become more and more bizarre as you play. Be prepared to put your teamwork, multitasking, and shouting communication skills to the test (as well as your patience) as you will be racing against the clock to get the job done. Don’t forget to clean up the mess you leave behind and be sure to be out the door before the timer runs out.

Ship Of Fools:
Ship of Fools is getting a physical release thanks to Super Rare Games who are teaming up with the game’s developer and publisher Fika Productions and Team 17 Digital. For those who are not familiar with the game, it is a nautical adventure and roguelite that will have players man the cannons to defend their ship against the Aquapocalypse. It features co-op play with a sea of challenges to overcome, treasures to find, and monstrous foes to battle.
Ship of Fools will be available to purchase on the Super Rare Games storepage come January 11th, 6pm GMT/10am PDT/1pm EDT and there will be a total of 4000 Switch copies available for sale worldwide.
If you would like to find out more about Ship of Fools, be sure to check out the Super Rare Games Storepage.
Electrician Simulator
Electrican Simulator gives players the chance to try out the spark life by installing and repairing electrical installations as a virtual electrician, all from the safety of their own home without risk of receiving a nasty electric shock. Take on jobs to replace sockets, wire up appliances, change lightbulbs and learn how to repair faulty video game controllers and consoles.
The game is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop and there is also additional content titled The Smart Devices DLC which includes additional missions, Smart device repairs, additional gadgets, and a new wireless sensor and switch mechanic to help indicate task opportunities.
I’ve seen a lot of simulator games come to Nintendo Switch but Electrician Simulator is one that intrigues me the most. It is probably because in real life, I am currently studying to become an electrical technician myself and it will be interesting to see just how the game will simulate the real life profession.
If you are interested in Electrician Simulator, you can learn more about it via the game’s listing on the Nintendo.com website.
