A month before the Nintendo Switch could even make its long awaited debut, Fire Emblem made the leap to mobile devices in the form of Fire Emblem HeroesJust two months shy of the apps seventh anniversary, the game has changed in a number of ways, and its story is far from over. Book VII has not long since concluded and Book VIII has now commenced.

In celebration of the mobile application’s ongoing achievements, we’re spending seven days looking back on the books that came before it and remembering some of the main characters that were introduced in each book. Today, we’re revisiting Book IV:

Fire Emblem Heroes | Book IV:

With their struggle with the realm of the dead behind them, the Order of Heroes sets out to investigate a strange report out of a remote village. It’s said that the residents of the village have fallen victim to unrelenting nightmares.

Upon their approach, Alfonse and the others quickly succumb to an unbearable drowsiness. In their half-conscious state, they are approached by Peony, a radiant light elf with the ability to conjure pleasant dreams.

With a new ally at their side, it’s up to the Order of Heroes to fend off the dark elves and return to reality.

Peony:

A ljósálfar from Ljósálfheimr, the realm of dreams. Delivers pleasant dreams to mortals. Both sincere and positive, she enjoys playing with children.

Mirabilis:

A ljósálfr from Ljósálfheimr, the realm of dreams. She brings daydreams to mortals and sleeps during day and night. Always seems to have just woken up.

Freyr:

The king of Ljósálfheimr, the realm of dreams. He is the god who governs dreams. He wishes for all to live in tranquility.

Queen of Dökkálfheimr, realm of nightmares. Loves her older brother Freyr dearly, raging with bitter jealousy at his care for lesser mortal creatures.

Triandra:

A dökkálfar from Dökkálfheimr, the realm of nightmares. Delivers terrible dreams to mortals. Cold and distant, she lives on without hope.

Plumeria:

English VA: Nicole Gose

A jaded dökkálfar from Dökkálfheimr, the realm of nightmares. She delivers salacious dreams to mortals. Though she would wish to do away with all cloying mortal desires, she cannot.
